Zena Komrokji

Premedical Trustee

Zena Komrokji is a graduate from the College of Arts and Sciences and the Judy Genshaft Honors College at the University of South Florida, earning a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She is currently working as a part-time research assistant in clinical sciences and malignant hematology at Moffitt Cancer Center as she prepares to apply for medical school.

Zena briefly served as the AMSA Medical Education Advocacy Coordinator before transitioning into the role of Premedical Trustee during the 2024-2025 term in which she earned the AMSA Outstanding Premedical Student Award. Zena is serving as Premedical Trustee for a second term as she is truly passionate about uplifting the voices of premedical students to ensure their success as the next generation of physicians by creating an accessible system of support through AMSA’s national network. In her free time, Zena enjoys playing tennis and trying new foods!
