I am Aisha; I am the 2020-2021 Advocacy Scholar Program Course Director for AMSA. Currently, I am a senior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, doing a double major in Nutritional Science and Biology. I completed this course in the year of 2017-2018; it was a great learning experience as it helps me continue learning and gain a new approach to the field. I am also involved in Red Cross communication team, working in research, and work as Volunteer Scribe. In my free time I like reading , playing tennis, taking photos and traveling.

Why will I LOVE this Scholars Program?

The Advocacy Scholars Program brings together individuals from across the country who are passionate about activism, social justice, and creating space for medical students and physicians in advocacy. Together through an advocacy-related project, we will develop the practical skills and knowledge necessary to build a career as an effective physician-advocate.
