I AM A LOOKING TO GO

Future physicians: We’re a mighty force. Let’s come together.

March 25, 2020

Across the country and globe, medical students are banding together in small groups to share ideas, ask questions and better understand what we can do in this time of crisis. We’re anxious, unsettled and eager to help.

Here’s the thing: as medical students—as the next generation of physicians, we have the power, drive and collective voice to make incredible things happen. Imagine if these smaller groups came together as a force amplified for impact; bonded together in support and advocacy.

And so we are. Virtually. Inventively. Effectively. Because coming together to realize positive change is central to AMSA’s mission—and has been for the last 70 years.

As a student-led organization, we know what you’re experiencing—and we’ve been making fast work to offer a platform to coalesce, lean in together and convert our drive into action, advocacy and impact during this crisis.

We invite you to join us on this effort—this invitation extends to all medical students looking to take action, prepare for the future and realize change. Starting now!

We’ve taken our action-packed, three-day annual convention and have transformed it to be fully virtual—so all can attend from the safety of their homes, from all corners of the globe. 30+ sessions, SIM challenges (yes! those!), virtual health fair, break-out sessions and Advocacy Day—with special focus on COVID-19.
