AMSA International Passport Program

Pen Pal meets Medical School...on a global scale.

The AMSA International Passport Program connects AMSA chapters across borders for one month of cross-cultural peer learning, networking, and collaboration.

This is your chance to build relationships with future physicians worldwide, gain fresh perspectives on medicine, and create something meaningful together.

How It Works

When you register, your chapter will be paired with a partner AMSA chapter abroad. Together, your chapter presidents will lead members through:

Idea Exchange: Compare medical education experiences and healthcare systems.
Skill Sharing: Swap clinical tips, tools, and resources.
Global Connection: Organize a joint virtual event or discussion.

At the end of the month, AMSA will spotlight outstanding partnerships on our social media with the hashtag #AMSAPASSPORT.

Registration Deadline: Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST

Info + Q&A Session: Saturday, October 4, 2025 (TBD)

Optional Feedback Sessions:

Friday, November 21, 6–7 PM EST
Saturday, December 6, 10–11 AM EST

Eligibility

To participate, all members must be:

Active AMSA National Members
- Membership must be current and verified at the time of participation.
- National Membership Dues:
  - $35 USD for a 1-year membership
  - $75 USD for a 4-year membership
Chapters Ensure Member Status
- Each chapter is responsible for confirming their nominated participants are active, paid members.
- Non-active or unpaid members are not eligible to join program activities, research projects, or feedback sessions.
