Shan Jin

Shan Jin is a third-year medical student at the NYIT College Of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated from Stony Brook University with a degree in Biochemistry. Her areas of special advocacy interest include environmental justice, public health, and medical education. Throughout her career, Shan has diversified her experience by volunteering with multiple community organizations and completing research in multiple academic disciplines.

Shan has been involved with AMSA for two years and has been a proud member of AMSA ever since. She served as Scholar Program Chair and received the Presidential Award for Excellence and Exemplary Leadership. She is excited to see what AMSA Academy can achieve this year!
