What & Why

The AMSA Alliance is born out of a growing desire for collaboration. Here, forward-thinking organizations and businesses can meaningfully engage with premedical and medical students in ongoing, creative and impactful ways. Members receive exclusive designation and valuable opportunities to offer future physicians benefits, products and support to help further their careers. At a high level, the AMSA Alliance exists to:

  • identify creative ways to connect relevant organizations and businesses with AMSA members
  • provide a helpful exchange of services, resources or products that will help medical and premedical students succeed
  • offer a forum for ideation; paths to explore creative partnerships between Alliance members, students and leaders  

Fees & Benefits

This charter year, your organization can join the AMSA Alliance for only $1500 for 12 months (nonprofits receive a discounted rate of $500). In exchange, AMSA Alliance members receive:

  • Brand recognition as a trusted AMSA ally 
  • Visibility via the AMSA Alliance marketing materials and website 
  • Listing in the searchable, online AMSA Alliance Directory accessible from AMSA’s website reaching more than 30K AMSA members and many more
  • Free subscription to AMSA’s award-winning magazine The New Physician and AMSA’s e-newsletter Weekly Consult
  • Free registration for one representative to attend AMSA’s Annual Convention
  • First-pick of advertising and promotion opportunities for programs, projects, events, and learning opportunities (i.e. AMSA Convention, Days and Weeks of Action, Building on Foundations National Leadership Training, Advocacy Training, etc.)    
  • Auto renewal option for continuous affiliation with AMSA 
  • First opportunity to receive announcements about AMSA’s philanthropic programs with the AMSA Foundation

AMSA approval is required for any organization to receive a listing in the AMSA Alliance Directory. AMSA reserves the right to remove any organization from the AMSA Alliance directory at any time. Listed organizations must follow AMSA’s advertising and governance of industry relationships policies as defined in the AMSA Constitution & Bylaws. If an organization is removed from the AMSA Alliance Directory due to a breach in AMSA’s policies, organization will forfeit all monies paid to AMSA.
