Rico Carter II

Rico is currently a graduate student at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, pursuing his Master of Science in Medical Sciences. Rico received his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health at the University of South Florida. Rico aspires to become a physician. Rico has been a member of the American Medical Student Association(AMSA) for six years. He has served as a local chapter president and has held two national leadership positions within AMSA; he is currently serving in his third position as the Community and Public Health Chair. Before this role, Rico held the Premedical Trustee position on AMSA’s Board of Trustees for two consecutive years. He also served as a Premedical Membership Director for one year. Rico looks forward to working with his committee to engage in advocacy initiatives and work to provide Medical Students and Premedical students across the country the opportunity to engage in grass-roots organizing.
