Raneem Ammar

Raneem Ammar is a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. Throughout her college years, she was a dedicated member of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), taking on
increasing leadership roles and eventually serving as the president of her local chapter. She represented her university in “The American Medical Student Association Premedical Research Project to Evaluate Access to Resource Barriers,” which won the esteemed Best Overall
Pre-Medical Prize at the Future Physicians for Change conference in June 2023. Raneem is passionate about medicine, research, volunteering, and advocacy. She is currently researching racial health inequities and serves as a Crisis Counselor. In her free time, Raneem
enjoys weightlifting, exploring nature, and spending quality time with family and friends.
