I AM A LOOKING TO GO

Osikhotse Jemima Momoh

Course Director, Medical Humanities

Otse is a fourth-year medical student at All Saints University SOM, Dominica. She served at her university in various positions including the Student Body President before going on to become Vice-President Clinical at my local AMSA Chapter before taking up the position as Medical Humanities Scholars Program Course Director. She is passionate about student advocacy, mental and public health. Having taken this course in the spring, it further reinforced her belief that every good physician needs more than the standard classroom curriculum to develop the necessary skills needed to care for themselves, their patients and relate with their colleagues in the most humane way.
With her experience in editorials, advocacy and blogging, she believes she can contribute to this program by curating and engaging herself and others in meaningful & unexplored conversations around the art of medicine.

She is an aspiring photographer & graphics designer. She is also passionate about mental health advocacy among medics and the founder of a mental health initiative; The Mental Space. Otse loves lifestyle blogging, enjoying new experiences with her friends and organizing events.
