Anishaa Sivakumar

Anishaa Sivakumar is continuing her education as an M3 at the Yale School of Medicine and sits on the AMSA Board of Trustees as the Vice President for Internal Affairs. Anishaa has been a member of AMSA for the past six years, serving the past two years as Secretary and VP for Internal Affairs before returning as Secretary this year, and previously as the AIDS Advocacy Network Campaign Chair. In these roles, she worked with the rest of the Board of Trustees on strengthening AMSA’s infrastructure and building opportunities for members to engage in education and advocacy. Anishaa graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Medical Anthropology. As an AMSA chapter member at the University of Central Florida, Anishaa served in such positions as Research Director and Treasurer before joining national leadership. Anishaa looks forward to continuing to work with her fellow members of AMSA.
