I AM A LOOKING TO GO

Senah Stephens

Health Equity Policy Coordinator

Hi AMSA! My name is Senah Stephens. I grew up on my family’s dairy farm in Wytheville, Virginia. I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in biochemistry and a bachelor’s in biological sciences from Virginia Tech. I worked for a year as a Clinical Assisting Student in the Dermatology Research and Practicing Scholars Program in Tallahassee, Florida, after graduation. Now, I’m approaching my second year at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. My career goals are to become an orthopedic surgeon. Aside from learning, I love to hike, enjoy the outdoors, practice hot yoga, bake desserts for friends, and read fiction novels. I’m looking forward to raising awareness and pushing for change as Environmental Justice Health Policy Coordinator this year.
