Mahek Khiantani

Mahek Khiantani is a third-year student at the University of South Florida majoring in Biomedical Sciences. She is from Belize, a beautiful country known as a ‘melting pot of cultures’ for its rich diversity. She is very passionate about community service and global health. Back home, she started a community service club where she worked in a team of amazing and hard-working young individuals to organize and carry out service projects such as bi-weekly food drives for families residing in rural areas. Mahek is a Public Relations Officer at her university’s AMSA Chapter and a research intern at the Moffitt Cancer Center. Mahek also holds a passion for marketing and social media and is currently a USF Student Ambassador for Kaplan Test Prep. She hopes to carry out this passion and utilize it to assist other pre-medical students in the future.She loves to travel and has been to Paris, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Panama, Amsterdam, and China, documenting her travel experiences on TikTok. She also enjoys crocheting, watching Korean dramas, and spending time with her family.
