Monica Isuan Idugboe

Reproductive Justice Coordinator

Monica is originally from Edo State, Nigeria, she completed her undergraduate studies at the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Nigeria with a degree in Human Physiology after which, she served her country under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Abuja.

She is currently in her 4th year medical program at the American University of Barbados, (SOM) and about completing her Clinical rotations in Chicago. Her passion for women and reproductive right are her motivation to specialize in OBGYN.

As part of her commitment to community development, she volunteered to run the Charles Uzoyare foundation, that was established in memory of her late father, whose objective is to support children in the inner cities with grants to further their education.

Monica is excited to work with the Gender and Sexuality team and the rest of fAMSA to continue in the advocacy for women’s right to reproductive health.
