Madeleine Peterson

Madeleine (Maddie) Peterson is from Sparks, Maryland and is a current M1 at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Virginia in 2021. Maddie then moved to New Orleans for a year to obtain her Master of Science in Physiology from Tulane University School of Medicine. During her second gap year, she worked as a medical assistant at the UVA Primary Care Gynecology Clinic in Charlottesville, where she fell in love with women’s health and advocacy. Outside of her medical passions, Maddie is a competitive tennis player, an avid reader, and an animal lover. She is very excited to be this year’s Sexual Health Coordinator!
