I AM A LOOKING TO GO

Trevor Lyford

Chair

I am originally (and proudly) from LaGrange, Maine. Graduated with an Honors Degree in Public Health from Brown University in 2018 and a Masters in Public Health from The Milken Institute of Public Health at George Washington University in 2022. I am currently a second year medical student at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. I am heavily involved with rural health, first-generation / low-income student groups, human values in medicine, and AMSA (of course!). I am thrilled to be entering my second term as the AMSA National Health Policy Chair and am excited to collaborate with the many passionate AMSA members over the next year! When I am not advocating in the health policy space, I am likely enjoying a fire in the backyard with my wife Max and our two dogs (Lucy and Evie), watching The Office for the zillionth time, or closely following all New England professional sports teams.
