I AM A LOOKING TO GO

Ciara June

Research Coordinator

Ciara is a medical student at the University of Arizona. She is passionate about education as education takes on many forms and is the foundation society is framed around. She is particularly interested in improving the quality of medical education and the medical experience for students. Medicine is a complex field and patients look to their physicians for help navigating the health care system, but many physicians have not been taught the basics of the system. She aspires to encourage the financial side of medicine to be integrated into the medical curriculum and residency programs. In doing so, she hopes to promote awareness of insurance policies and how it impacts patients, physicians, and institutions as a whole. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, socializing with friends and family, and taking care of her sick cat, Casper. Ciara is excited to be a part of AMSA national as the Medical Education Research Coordinator.
