Issues with desire, arousal, orgasm, or pain are often secondary to other medical conditions. Many physicians, however, are unsure how to proceed with conversations about sexual health, leaving their patients at risk for decreased quality of life, depression, interpersonal conflicts, and potential noncompliance with medications. Physicians must have the ability to deftly and sensitively address sexual problems and support healthy sexuality. This program is dedicated to preparing participants to become leaders in this field, through the exploration of topics including sexual abuse, sexual self-esteem, tools and toys, adolescent sexual development, and more.
