Zoreed will be an incoming first-year medical student this year. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology honors from the University of Central Florida, and during this time, served as the Knight-Thon Director and Global Health Director for her local Pre-Med AMSA chapter. Zoreed then became involved with AMSA National, serving as the Global Health Policy Coordinator, Healthcare for All Steering Committee Member, and Pre-Medical Scholars’ Program Course Director last year.
This year, she is the Vice President for Programming Development and Reproductive Health Scholars’ Program Course Director. Aside from AMSA, Zoreed has held leadership positions for the Democratic Women’s Club of Florida, League of Women Voters, Florida Interfaith Coalition for Reproductive Health and Justice, and Southeastern Food Bank. She is passionate about improving gender equity in healthcare leadership, bringing awareness to health care disparities, expanding access to more affordable care for underserved populations/rural communities, and increasing access to reproductive health care across the country.
In her free time, Zoreed likes to play the piano, bake French pastries, and take photographs for her fashion blog.
