Jarrod is a fourth-year medical student at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Radiological Health Engineering and minor in mathematics. During his time at LECOM he earned a master’s degree in medical science and conducted research on the implementation and use of ultrasound within medical schools.
While in medical school he has served in multiple leadership positions including Vice Chair of the DO Advisory Board, Student Coordinator for Emergency Medicine at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Treasurer of the Student Osteopathic Surgical Association, and Student Ambassador at LECOM.
He is an advocate for the holistic approach to medicine that is ingrained in the doctrine of osteopathy. During his time on the DO Advisory Board, he hopes to help promote this throughout all medical disciplines.
