I am a Senior at Wright State majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Biochemistry. I am currently the chair of the Dean’s Circle for the College of Science and Mathematics where I am in charge of helping plan college-wide socials, experiential learning learning events, as well as maintaining strong relationships between all of the other colleges at Wright State. In addition to this, I am working to expand the AMSA chapter at Wright State to improve premedical student lives and build a stronger community. I also am a volunteer in the ED at Soin Medical Center and I am an undergraduate research assistant in the Chemistry department where I am working on mapping out the mitochondria and its kinematics to eventually understand the cause of several mitochondrial disorders through the use of silver nanoparticles. Starting in the fall, I will be an undergraduate teaching assistant for a cadaver based anatomy course, which I really look forward to doing. I am currently studying the MCAT and will be taking it in August and during that time, I will also be training for the Airforce Marathon. My other passions include cooking, traveling, gaming, and competitive swimming.
