Payden White is a second year medical student at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a certificate in Global Health, and has taken several courses in the Community and Nonprofit Leadership department. In medical school, Payden is excited to be pursuing the Path of Distinction in Public Health as well as a certificate in Leadership in addition to her medical degree. Payden enjoys spending time exercising (especially training for races), cooking and baking, playing cards/ board games with friends, and spending time with loved ones. Payden is passionate about working with families and children, especially those who may not have easy access to healthcare. She is currently a student in the Training in Urban Medicine and Public Health program (TRIUMPH), in which she hopes to continue to develop skills relating to advocacy, community outreach, research, and compassion. She is excited to continue her journey in the medical field through the TRIUMPH project, clinical rotations in Milwaukee, and more.
