Hanna is a Junior undergrad at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst studying Biology and Linguistic-Spanish. She has founded and is the Vice President and National Liaison of the premedical chapter. She volunteers in the Post-Op unit of the Baystate Medical Center of Springfield, MA, working alongside peri-anesthesia nurses. She has worked in a Psycho-Linguistics lab and is excited to work in a Microbiome lab her Junior year. Her interest in Global Health stems from her relationship with her blind grandmother from Korea and her past and future travels to Europe, Asia, and South America. Alongside those passions, she hopes to pursue a career in surgery, especially Ophthalmology, in hopes to impact the blind all across the globe. She cannot wait to get involved with National AMSA and help build a bridge between students and global health opportunities.
