Jada Thompson is a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, studying French and Neurobiology. She became involved with AMSA on the local and national level during her Freshman year and has continued to grow her interest in professional development for undergraduates and medical students as she prepares to apply to medical school. During her junior year, Jada conducted research at her university, investigating effective treatments for pancreatic cancer. A Milwaukee, WI native, Jada enjoys playing soccer, challenging friends to chess matches, traveling, and planning events with her friends at the Multicultural Student Center at UW – Madison. In her leadership role, Jada plans to enhance her skills as a leader and assist local chapters by providing them with opportunities to enhance their skills in advocacy.
