Advocacy Coordinator

From Dominican Republic, Laura is an undergraduate at Regis College. She is studying to major in biochemistry, is a member of the Beta Beta Honor society. She performs research in the Regis zebrafish facility and is the secretary of the local AMSA premedical chapter at Regis. Being part of the AMSA chapter has aided her with expertise in advocating for medical education opportunities. She’s eager to do the same for other communities as she take on the new role as Medical Education Advocacy coordinator. Besides school, research, and working at the rehab, Laura enjoys Netflix, new foods, and spending time with loved ones. In the future, Laura hopes to become a physician and help underserved communities that have shortage of medical resources.
