Carlos Quinonez, M.P.H. is a third-year medical student at the Medical University of Lublin, Poland. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, and a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) with a concentration in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, from Florida International University (FIU) in the years 2010 and 2012 respectively.
During his M.P.H studies, Carlos completed an internship with Baptist Hospital of South Florida – Department of Community Health. During his time with Baptist Hospital, he developed a passion for serving his local community and discovered a spark that lead him to an interest in preventive and community health. Carlos met the love of his life while studying at FIU, he is now married and the proud father of a boy and a girl. They all enjoy living in the Sunshine State of Florida.
For his active volunteerism and academic achievements, Carlos was awarded The Florida International University “Excellence in Civic Engagement Medallion of Distinction” in the year 2010. Carlos currently serves as the president for the AMSA – Medical University of Lublin Chapter. In his spare time, he is a mentor for new medical students at the Medical University of Lublin and Hope Medical Institute.
