Nutrition

Some cool Program Ideas for Nutrition might be:

  1. Have a healthy Potluck! Have people bring their favorite, fast, healthy food dish and the recipe! This could be at night and can be tied to a massage fest or a yoga class or something.
  2. Invite a nutritionist to talk about different types of popular diets (Atkins, High Protein, low fat, macrobiotic) to discuss their successes and potential medical risks.
  3. Offer healthy snacks (raisins, nuts, granola bars) to classmates between lectures (this may even be a cool fundraiser!)
  4. Invite someone who is involved in complementary and alternative medicine to talk about different approaches to healing through foods!
  5. Have a speaker discuss dietary supplements and their potential risks and benefits.
