Summary of project We worked with our chapter of Med Students for Choice on this project. Our day of action focused on a WI bill that would prohibit distribution of EC in University of Wisconsin clinics. We had a speaker from University Health Services come the day before to discuss the legislation, and then we held a postcard writing session so that people could contact legislators re: the bill. In addition, we had options for students to sign Sen. Clinton’s petition to the FDA re: Plan B, write to the FDA for the open comment period, and write to legislators about the Access to Legal Pharmaceuticals Act. Lunch was served at the talk.
