| Summary of project | Collected Medical Text Books, flash cards, etc from 2nd, 3rd and 4th years. Students were asked to include their name, contact information and asking price with their book. We added 2-5$ to the asking price of the book. We set a date and held the book sale over a 2 hr period. The book owners were their full asking price, if the book sold or otherwise they were given their unsold book(s) back. |

| Coordinator roles | Advertising for collection of books, for the book sale itself, and for pickup of payment checks/unsold books. Establishing a collection area/time/date for books. Organizing and labeling the 500+ books based on subject. Creating an excel inventory of names/book/asking price. Getting enough cash change for the sale. Setting up the selling area and organizing/moving books. Keeping track of the books and paying the book owners the correct amount in an appropriate time frame. |
