|Summary of project||Monday: Personal stories: people living with HIV/AIDS will come share their story. Also a case manager from VT Cares (a local AIDS Service Organization) will be in attendance.
Wednesday: AIDS and Diversity issues Panel. Representatives from the Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Care Clinic, IMANI Health Institute (IMANI is Community Based Organization that does some AIDS case management), and the Women of Color Alliance.
Thursday: So What Can You Do? Dr. Micheal Bosia is an assistant professor at St Michaels College. Dr. Bosia earned his doctorate in political science with a dissertation titled “Blood Ties: Identity, Citizenship and the Politics of AIDS.” He works on AIDS activism, primarily Act Up Paris and was a policy maker working on AIDS issues in California from 1983-95. 1st year student Ariel GallantBernstein will also talk about New seed International, a grassroots organization for HIV/AIDs in Ghana, West Africa (the organization to whom all funds raised throughout the week were donated)
Friday: Clinical Perspectives with a Question and Answer session. Christopher J Grace, MD, FACP, Chief of Infectious Diseases at FAHC. Dr. Grace started the first AIDS Comprehensive Care Clinics in Vermont, and would talk about HIV-AIDS from the standpoint of a front-line physician provider.
Friday Evening: International Potluck and viewing of "A Closer Walk."

|Lessons/suggestions||We tried very hard to coordinate efforts with other groups- with undergrad students interested in global health issues, with the local Peace Corps recruiter, and with another local college. Unfortunately, the only time that worked for this program for me|
|Comments||We were able to raise several hundred dollars in donations for New Seed International throughout the week.|
