| Project advertising | Flyers, emails, facebook. I thought it worked, as I got lots of interest via facebook, but not at the actual event. Perhaps we should follow-up more. |

| Lessons/suggestions | Start planning and advertising sooner. It was a great idea but not enough people showed up to the actual event. The event is every year in Kansas City, so perhaps all the KC chapters could combine and make one AMSA team for a more unified appearance, and start earlier to raise more money. Also remember to follow-up with those who express interest in raising money and/or attending the walk -- be sure to actually CALL them a day or so before the walk and let them know when you're meeting, etc. I advise meeting somewhere nearby before the event registration so everyone feels like they aren't alone. |

| Comments | It's a great idea and really homes in to AMSA ideals. It would be great for all the KC-area or even Missouri/Kansas area chapters to get together to raise money and walk together. UMKC and KCUMB did end up walking together and it was a lot of fun. |
