| Lessons/suggestions | Dr. Schenk was an excellent speaker and I learned a lot about the history of women in medicine. It made me appreciate being a female in medical school and opened my eyes to the inequality that still exists. Shirts were also sold prior to the speaker to help promote the event. I used customink.com. It was very easy to use the site, design the shirt, and make the order. The shirts even arrived a week early. It would have been nice to have a shirt ahead of time to help with sales, but it's very expensive to just order want shirt so I couldn't do that. A lot of the info from the talk came from the AAMC. They keep a lot of statistical info on women in medicine. |
