Summary of project An Ayurvedic Focus Month was put on by AMSA's integrative medicine group, the Student's for Integrative Medicine focus group. The bulletin board was decorated with basic information on Ayurveda, quiz sheets were placed in students' boxes to evaluate their specific dosha health indicator - the Ayurvedic description of a person's state of health. A potluck dinner was also held in which the participants cooked a dish based on their physical constitution, and a documentary was shown on Ayurvedic practice in India.

Lessons/suggestions We wanted to have a speaker come and present on Ayurvedic medicine in the classroom, but the organizer's were too busy to plan for this meeting. Suggestions? - don't go to medical school if you don't want to always be busy!
