| Summary of project | Dr. Oveta Fuller (a renowned virologist) spoke regarding her extensive time spent in Africa and her experience with the HIV/AIDS she saw there. We also opened the lecture with a discussion of the African Health Capacity Investment Act. We passed out postcards from PHR for the attendees to sign and urge their representatives in Congress to support the act. The talk was over lunch and the attendees were fed pizza to entice them to come. |

| Lessons/suggestions | Dr. Fuller is an excellent speaker and the event was fairly successful. We could have been more clear with our instructions with the postcards and perhaps gotten better participation. |
