| Summary of project | In honor of domestic violence awareness month, we made purple ribbons to offer for a suggested donation of $1 to all students at our medical school. On one day, we set up tables on the lawn to sell to the whole university. In total, we raised $497.24 over three days. We sold ribbons in between classes and in the student lounge during the lunch hour. All proceeds were donated to Option House Outreach, a local women's shelter and the only one in the Central San Bernardino area. |
