Summary of project We had a booth at the state fair in order to raise awareness of the UAF Pre-Medical Society as well as to recruit new students.

Coordinator roles We had several students create posters about the pre-medical society, other students to help set up the booth, and three people per day in shifts to man the booth for the seven days.

Funding breakdown of sources and/or donations: The cost of the booth (which was shared with another school club) was $250. The tables and poster material were donated from members.
Project advertising Advertisement for the fair was done by the fair. We were listed in their advertisement. This was very successful.

Lessons/suggestions We found out afterwards that we could get a free booth by using one of the 10 University booths. Next year we will do this.

Comments We were able to get 30 students to sign up for the pre-med society, and were able to discuss health issues with about 100 people.
