Summary of project AMSA members educated grade school children on the importance of eating healthy and exercising and options available to them as children. They gave a seminar on the digestive system and the nation's problem of obesity, demonstrated chemistry experiments about cholesterol build-up, provided healthy lunches, and instructed them on various stretches and exercises

Comments This was an extremely rewarding experience that targets the nation's primary cause of death in the early stages of learning. It received the Social Consciousness Award at the ASU Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony.
