Summary of project One Care Now is a grass roots organization working to make universal healthcare a reality in the state of California. The speaker was George Savage (State Chair, OneCareNow.org Campaign; Committee Director, Health Care for All). He presented an inspiring video, talked about why universal healthcare works and is needed, and answered questions from the premed audience (many of whom had just recently been introduced to universal healthcare).
