| Summary of project | Veto the 'Squito was a pajama party that raised money for "Malaria No More," which is an organization that provides bed-nets for people who are at a high risk of Malaria in Africa. We charged $10/person because each bed-net costs $10. The event was easy to execute because the organization, "Americans for Informed Democracy," provided us with a kit for the event...including a DVD, CD, Bed-net, invitations, flyers, etc. To find out more about hosting the event, go to www.vetothesquito.org |

| Project advertising | We advertised on facebook and put flyers everywhere. I thought that the advertising was great, but 20 people showed up, so maybe it could have been stronger. |

| Lessons/suggestions | I suggest that you send in your request for the party kit at least a whole month in advance. It takes them a while to send it out to people. |
| ADDITIONAL COMMENTS | |
| Comments | I had a lot of support from the science division at my school. They loaned us a projector, laptop, white screen, tables, etc. We rented 20 bean bag chairs from our student senate. |
