| Summary of project | Local health professional students will participate in a panel discussion with distinguished faculty and physicians to explore the underlying cause of gender disparity in medicine, especially within competitive specialties, leadership positions, and academic appointments. The discussion will also highlight the past obstacles female leaders in medicine have overcome, the challenges that remain today and the role that the students, as well as the medical community play in resolving these disparities. |
