Summary of project The Oxford Solidarity Ride-Ride for World Health is a charity cycling event that was hosted on April 1, 2006, that raised money for the non-profit organiztion, Ride for World Health. There were four routes that registered riders had to choose from: 20, 35, 65 and 100 miles. All proceeds went to R4WH. More information can be found on our website at:

Project advertising This event was well advertised on campus through flyers and other places as well. Information was sent to cycling shops around central and southern Ohio, and posted on cycling list serves. We also had several stories run in local and campus paper.

Lessons/suggestions The event was very well organized due to several premeetings in which volunteers were required to attend. Times and locations were clearly understood by all participant.
