Project advertising The project was advertised within AMSA in the UVA Chapter and then the project itself was performed at the Charlottesville Downtown Mall near all the vendors. Many people just passing through had the chance to check on their blood pressure. The advertisin

Lessons/suggestions This project attracted a lot of people at the downtown mall and drew a fair amount of attention, but we could have advertised to the city community more than we did. Also, perhaps we could have had other health demonstrations that would attract people to

Comments Make sure that the volunteers have had the opportunity to practice taking blood pressure, and also have them practice on each other while waiting for community members to have their blood pressure taken.
