| Summary of project | UVA SOM's AMSA chapter partnered with the UVA AMSA pre-med chapter to provide an informal gathering of medical students and pre-meds. The pre-medical students were invited to the medical student lounge in the hospital for ice cream, which was provided by the pre-med chapter. Over a two hour period pre-med students had the opportunity to informally discuss the preparation and application process and hear the personal experiences of medical students in a one-on-one setting. Both the medical students and the pre-meds enjoyed the welcomed break. |

| Lessons/suggestions | The project fulfilled all of our expectations. The weather kept attendance a bit lower than was hoped, however, there was still a great turnout on both ends. |
