| Summary of project | During Domestic Violence Awareness month, medical students passed out chocolate awareness ribbons to students, faculty, and staff and requested a $1 donation. All donations collected during the month were given to a local domestic violence shelter. The Clothesline Project, which consists of T-Shirts designed by domestic abuse survivors, was also displayed in the lobby and information regarding domestic violence screening was available for students. |

| Lessons/suggestions | It would be nice if there were more people working on this project next year. It was our group's first project, so we now know the importance of delegating responsibility to others. |
| ADDITIONAL COMMENTS | |
| Comments | I would like to expand on this event next year to include a movie and panel discussion about domestic violence with students professionals from the community. |
