Topics included the history of activism, framing, universal healthcare myth busters, Midwest Academy, and lobbying.

Lessons/suggestions As the purpose of this workshop was to teach skills in advocacy and activism, we encouraged each participant to watch a 20 minute video on single-payer in order to avoid wasting time during the workshop discussing the details of universal healthcare. It
