| Summary of project | This was a student-lead discussion forum on the issue of HIV/AIDS. The forum began with a quick powerpoint presentation containing general information. A round-table discussion then took place, lasting for roughly 1 hour. Some of the topics discussed included: the pandemic in Sub-Saharan Africa, the responsibility of the United States in providing foreign aid, the practicality of aid, and the need for increased education and awareness in such areas. Refreshments were served at the forum. |

| Lessons/suggestions | We wanted to keep the event small for the purpose of providing an environment for free and active discussion. We found this strategy to work quite and would highly recommend it to others. |
