Summary of project Purpose of the project was to bring awareness to the huge need for healthcare workers in 3rd world countries. A second year student spoke about his personal experience in Africa concerning AIDS and orphans. We showed the Bill Gates documentary on AIDS and provided a free lunch. Students donated about 50 boxes of gloves to be sent to Africa.

Lessons/suggestions We could have made more posters for the event to help advertise it. We unfortunately raised less than $5 in donations. We had a donation box out for a week and then passed around an envelope during the meeting, but I guess those were not very effective.
