Summary of project This was a week full of events put on by AMSA which included daily activities:

Monday and Tuesday - Tar Wars presentations by med students at local schools (anti-tobacco program for school-age children)

Wednesday - Speaker from the University's political science department on the health care issues in the upcoming election. After the speaker, students were provided lunch on behalf of AMSA and were joined at tables of 8 people by primary care physicians throughout the community. There was also an afternoon casting workshop sponsored by AMSA and put on by Orthopedic residents in the afternoon.

Thursday - Blood Pressure and Glucose screening run by first and second year students at a local grocery store.
