| Summary of project | This event was done in collaboration with PHR. Medical students signed a banner stating that they would commit themselves to be educated as to the needs of HIV/AIDS patients and do everything that they could to ensure that these patients are not discriminated against and receive medical care. Students also had the opportunity to have their picture taken with a sign regarding Global AIDS funding. These photos will then be sent to legislators. |

| Lessons/suggestions | Our one coordinator was sick and the other had a family issue, and as a result we did not have stuff as coordinated. Important work was still done, however, but this project could have been much larger. I would recommend doing it again. |
