Funding breakdown of sources and/or donations:
Project advertising We utilized flyers and sent emails. Attendence was okay. There is a belief that you don't need these devices until your third year, so some students had this in their head and did not attend. It is, however, advised that students get these devices

Lessons/suggestions This is not something to do to raise money. You hardly get anything back on the device sales. It is also really difficult because members can order the devices online from AMSA National and get them faster, but you don't get any money for your chapter if they do it this way. The deal is also not very good and the software is not mac compatible. Some students had trouble getting it to work, but most did okay. The key is to explain that they are getting a license to use the software for one year, and that they will need to pay every year to keep getting updates AND that it is NOT mac compatible. Our chapter paid to overnight the orders to expedite the process given that we were leaving for winter break and wanted students to have the devices before we left.
