LGBT HAC Residency Resource Website
To meet the resource needs of LGBT Medical Students in their MS4 year and beyond, LGBT HAC has created the Residency Resource Website, which integrates the following FOUR important resources:

1. LGBT HAC Alumni Website
As LGBT HAC'ers graduate from medical school and move on to their residency programs, they still want to continue the comradery, support, and advocacy that LGBT People in Medicine has brought to them during their med school years. We, the legacy that follow those LGBT HAC'ers before us, also welcome the advice, guidance, leadership, and words of wisdom from LGBT HAC Alumni. Keep in touch with old friends and serve as a resource to us newbies who follow your paths!
Join our LGBT HAC Alumni Directory and Register online!
2. Residency Housing Directory
Making your rounds for Residency Interviews and need a friendly, safe place to stay? Or are you a "hostess with the mostess" and willing to open couch to a fellow LGBT HACer and show them who there actually are LGBT students at your school? (and make a new friend while you're at it!) Check out our Residency Housing Directory, which is a list of fabulous hosts across the nation and is sent out on LGBT HAC's confidential Listserve during the Fall months (Aug - Dec).
Got an empty couch? Become an LGBT Host!
3. LGBT HAC Residency Survey
First published in 1995, LGBT HAC's Residency Survey is still the ONLY resource for LGBT Medical Students to gain insight into the LGBT climate at residency programs around the nation. Browse through our survey by specialty or residency program and know what to expect BEFORE you decide on a program. Are you doing your Residency? We also need YOUR help and input to make the survey a success!
Take the Residency Survey!! Tell us how YOUR program measures up!
4. Residency Program Information Guide
Since LGBT HAC's Residency Survey was first published, residency programs have taken note that it is essential to have an LGBT friendly climate in their program and that this quality is given serious consideration before LGBT Residency Applicants make their residency decision. The Residency Program Information Guide is a posting of information that individual programs have actively submitted to LGBT HAC.
Post your Residency Program's Info in our information guide!
